Vincent Ferrara serves as a Plumbing Consultant at DDA Forensics, bringing more than 35 years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing. His extensive expertise in plumbing inspections, leak detection, causation analysis, litigation consulting, and expert witness testimony provides valuable support to DDA’s forensic engineering team and clients involved in complex property damage claims.
Throughout his career, Vincent has conducted more than 1,000 documented plumbing inspections and participated in over 300 depositions, establishing a reputation for delivering thorough, objective, and technically sound evaluations. He specializes in identifying the origin and cause of plumbing failures, performing leak detection, evaluating sanitary systems, conducting shower pan testing, and investigating plumbing-related losses for insurance claims and litigation matters.
Vincent holds multiple industry credentials, including Florida State Certified Master Plumber, Broward County Licensed Master Plumber, and Broward County Licensed Journeyman Plumber. He is also certified as a Backflow Prevention Tester, Rheem Installer, Gaslite Installer, and WaterCop Installer. His technical expertise includes residential and commercial plumbing systems, remodeling projects, new construction, plumbing system diagnostics and natural gas installations and repairs.
Over the course of his career, he advanced through nearly every level of the profession, serving as a Plumber’s Helper, Mechanic, Journeyman Plumber, Superintendent, Field Supervisor, and ultimately Master Plumber. This comprehensive field experience gives him a practical understanding of plumbing systems from installation through failure analysis.
