With over four decades of experience in the construction and property claims industries, Tim Cooprider is a Certified General Contractor and Certified Roofing Contractor at DDA Forensics. He provides damage inspections, cause and origin determinations, cost and scope evaluations, and expert witness services for our clients.

Tim’s career began in 1980 at Metal Building Components, where he gained hands-on experience in handling contractor orders, scheduling material manufacturing, and assisting engineers in designing full-system roofs. He later joined S.M.C.I. (Specialty Maintenance and Construction Inc.), where he managed significant projects, including the design and fabrication of Launch Pads A and B at the Kennedy Space Center, as well as work on fossil fuel turbine accessories, airport support equipment, and think tank solution projects.

In 1996, Tim founded 21st Century Fabrication Inc. and provided metal fabrication and repair services. By 2004, he had obtained a Florida Certified Building Contractor license, followed by a Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license in 2005. In 2008, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish KTG Property Solutions, Inc., where he provided consulting services in property claims adjusting related to water, fire, wind, and structural damage. His extensive experience in claims adjusting included working closely with insurance adjusters in the wake of major hurricanes such as Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, and Wilma, where he helped clients navigate their claims and complete necessary repairs.

Between 2004 and 2008, Tim successfully completed over 1,100 roof installations and 1,800 repair projects on numerous residential and commercial properties. In 2008, he earned his Florida Certified Adjuster license, further enhancing his expertise in managing claims related to water, fire, and wind damage. Tim’s experience also includes deployments for hurricanes Irma, Florence, and Michael between 2017 and 2018, further cementing his reputation as a trusted expert in the field.
