Patrick Clark
Civil & Structural Engineer
Patrick Clark is a Civil/Structural Engineer at DDA Forensics, where he brings 8 years of expertise in engineering. With a strong background in forensic investigations, structural inspections, and geotechnical analysis, he specializes in analyzing structural damages, product failures, and incidents, utilizing advanced engineering principles and simulation techniques to determine root causes. His expertise includes site inspections, material analysis, and failure reconstructions, helping clients understand the factors contributing to structural failures. He specializes in all types of insurance claims.
Patrick launched his career in 2017 as a Project Engineer, performing building threshold inspections for commercial high-rise structures across Florida. His work involved geotechnical design, foundation recommendations—both deep and shallow—and the monitoring of deep foundation installations.
In 2022, Patrick transitioned into forensic engineering, eager to expand his skillset and deepen his involvement in the field. He thrives on learning in real-time environments, always striving to be hands-on and actively engaged with every aspect of his projects. Patrick’s certifications include FAA Drone Certification, Haag Residential, and Haag Wind Certification. He holds Florida and Georgia Professional Engineer licenses.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, where his first internship solidified his passion for fieldwork. Working as a Field Engineer in upstate New York, he operated a nuclear density gauge, took core samples of asphalt, and collaborated with engineers and pavers during the paving process, conducting sampling and testing in real-time throughout the project. This experience ignited his love for the practical, hands-on side of engineering.
With a solid foundation in both structural engineering and forensic analysis, Patrick is committed to making an impact in the engineering field, combining technical expertise with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. In his free time, he loves surfing and being in the water along the east coast.
