It was an evening of glitz, glamour, and mystery! DDA Forensics was a Dessert Sponsor at the South Florida Claims Association (SFCA) “Gangsters and Molls” Holiday Party. The event took place on December 1 at the Stache Drinking Den in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Attendees dressed to impress in their finest Gangster or Moll attire with pinstripe suits, fedoras, flapper dresses, and pearls. The extravaganza included food, drinks, music, dancing, photos, raffle prizes and a best-dressed contest.
Jamey Bennett, Director of Business Development at DDA Forensics and outgoing president of the SFCA, celebrated the achievements of the nonprofit organization. With over 15 years of industry experience, he brings a wealth of expertise in client relations, claims management and business development to the industry, DDA Forensics team and clients.
“It was a joy to wrap up my tenure as President of South Florida Claims Association at our holiday party. We appreciate the support of our sponsors and their dedication to improving the industry. As we gathered in the spirit of celebration and camaraderie, it was all a bit ironic—when our organization was founded in 1932, Florida was still stuck in the era of Prohibition. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, SFCA was officially ‘dry’ in the early days. Can you imagine our founders, in their sober board meetings, no boozy golf tournaments or the merriment of our holiday parties? If only they could see us these days, raising a toast to one another and carrying on! It’s been an honor to serve this community as President. I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and accomplishment at all that our board and association have done the last two years. I want to thank our members collectively for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading this 91-year-old not-for-profit professional association”, says Bennett.
Founded in 1932, the SFCA’s membership includes insurance claims adjusters and industry professionals. The organization aims to provide ongoing networking opportunities and advanced education.
