As part of our ongoing commitment to education, our Director of Business Development, Jamey Bennett, served on the planning committee of The Defense Collaborative’s “Speed-Dating” Risk and Insurance Conference, held on August 8 at AceBounce in Chicago. Attendees from the risk management and insurance claims industries gathered for a whole lot of fun and learning in a basement ping pong bar.
The Defense Collaborative is an education provider for the risk and claims industry with a speed-dating concept. The conference kicked off with registration and lunch at 12 p.m., a panel discussion at 1 p.m., and speed-dating rounds until 5 p.m. All speakers stay at their respective tables, and the attendees rotate. Topics included property valuations, bath faith, AI, and premises safety and proactive planning. The event ended with a networking dinner and gift card giveaways. This unique event is a fun and interactive way to earn continuing education credits while making valuable connections with industry professionals.
