Business Development Director Highlights Advanced Subrogation Strategies
ORLANDO — Jamey Bennett, director of business development at DDA Forensics, is presenting at the Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND) Conference in Orlando. The breakout session, “Peeling Back the Layers in Roofing Claims: Documenting the Loss & Looking for Subrogation Opportunities”, highlights subrogation strategies in claims. Bennett will co-present on Jan. 31 from 9-10:45 a.m. with Richard Maleski, member at Cozen O’Connor; J. Abraham “Abe” Hanze, general adjuster at Sedgwick; and Abidemi Oladipo, partner at Mubarak, Sherif, & Oladipo, PLLC. Attendees earn 2 CE/CLE credits. The annual WIND conference is held on Jan. 29 – Feb. 1 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®. WIND is a national educational member association for property claims management and insurance claims professionals.

He is a board member at The Defense Collaborative, a speed-dating style conference series for insurance adjusters and risk managers. A renowned thought leader, he speaks on the latest industry trends at conferences throughout the nation.
The WIND Conference provides professional development, training, certifications, and networking opportunities to the insurance claims industry. Attendees include claims adjusters, staff and company adjusters, attorneys, restoration professionals, contractors, engineers, forensic accountants, and underwriters.
The three-day educational conference begins Jan. 29 with Xactimate and Symbility courses and a networking event at Top Golf in Orlando. The second day features keynote speaker Dara Torres, Olympic gold medalist in swimming and the most decorated U.S. female Olympian. Educational sessions will cover a Florida law and ethics update, the implications of Florida Senate Bills 2A and 2B, and conclude with a ‘WINDlympics’ themed networking reception.
