DDA Forensics attended the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (FIFEC) Conference, which took place June 26-28 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando. FIFEC is a not-for-profit educational entity whose mission is to provide high-quality educational training opportunities at the lowest cost possible.
The three-day event included numerous classes, educational exhibits, CE/CLE credits, and networking opportunities. The conference provided high-quality presentations on insurance fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution.

FIFEC is a joint effort between the Florida Division of Investigative and Forensic Services (DIFS) and the Special Investigation Units of the Insurance Industry to facilitate communication and education. Their mission is to provide ongoing training seminars for DIFS and SIU investigators, law enforcement, prosecutors, insurance adjusters and management, and insurance defense in the ongoing fight to combat insurance fraud.
