This course provides an overview of condominium owners association (COA) and homeowners association (HOA) risks, policies, and underwriting best practices to avoid errors and omissions claims against agents, brokers, and other producers. It uses case studies recorded in the field and highlights the differences between residential and single-building commercial policies vs multi-building COA/HOA policies. It explains how to properly retrieve and present pertinent information to carriers, MGAs, and syndicates for binding of a multi-building, COA/HOA property policy.

For Agents & Brokers, the course focuses on:

– Risk assessment and policy structure

– Underwriting best practices to avoid E&O exposure
